The Problem
M&E Trading, a Nairobi-based construction company, had a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects but struggled to translate that credibility online. Their existing site was text-heavy, fragmented, and didn’t tell a cohesive story about their end-to-end offering. Visitors couldn’t quickly understand their services, proof of work, or why M&E was a trusted partner. This made it harder to win over potential clients who rely on a company’s digital presence as a first impression.
My Approach
To transform M&E’s website into a compelling point of presence that reflected their professionalism, I focused on:
Clarifying the narrative — Reframed copy around their full-service construction offering, highlighting credibility, safety, and reliability.
Structuring the journey — Organized services, past projects, and proof into a logical flow that made it easy for users to understand capabilities and explore further.
Visual credibility — Introduced high-quality project imagery and a consistent visual system to communicate trust and scale.
User-centered experience — Designed a responsive Squarespace site that made it easy for clients to get information quickly — whether on desktop or mobile.
